The Carreg Restaurant Bar and Grill Pembrokeshire
Thursday, 30 August 2007

Whenever you talk to a friend or a colleague about their holiday or short break, one of the first things to be mentioned is a "lovely restaurant"; this is something innate in all humans it seems, and why not, we work hard we reap the rewards.
The Carreg Restaurant, Bar and Grill is our place, a place we hope that people will refer to as that lovely restaurant. We have built up an excellent reputation with locals in Pembrokeshire and we want to extend this reputation further a field to our international visitors. Pembrokeshire is visited by thousands of people each year, mainly due to the National Park status, for the wild life watching, painting and outdoor extreme sports, if you are one of those people read on, if you are not, read on.
Welsh cuisine? The Carreg is the place to visit if you love fine food, full stop. Our menu uses local produce, but not exclusively, we like to use the best ingredients and sometimes we need to go further a field but when we can it is all local. On the menu you will find a mix of classic dishes, some variations on those themes and one or two creations of our own (without being silly if that's what you are thinking, there will be no chilled monkey brains with chocolate sauce and rose stem thorns here!). There is a full menu for the carnivores and some excellent choices for vegetarians too, we try to cover all the bases and we will do our best to accommodate those who have special dietary requirements.
If you are visiting Wales this year in particular Pembrokeshire make sure you come and see us for lunch, dinner in the evening or maybe just a coffee and a pastry, a warm welcome is waiting for you at The Carreg Restaurant.
